KeepMeYou is a free app for texting, calling, playing games and sharing music with your friends and family. This page explains, in plain words, what information the app keeps and why.
What we collect
- Your account: the name you sign up with and your PIN. Your PIN is never stored as typed: it is turned into a salted, scrambled code (a one-way hash), so nobody, including us, can read it.
- Your profile: your photo, bio and status, if you add them.
- What you send: your messages, photos, files, reactions, music you share and your game moves, so they can be delivered and shown in your chats.
- Calls: the small connection details needed to start a voice or video call. We do not record calls.
- Safety info: a scrambled code made from your internet address, used only to slow down spam and repeated wrong PIN tries.
- Settings: things like your theme, read receipts and notification choices.
Why we use it
Only to run the app: to sign you in, deliver your messages and calls, show your chats, keep the games and music working, and keep the app safe from spam and abuse.
Where it is stored
Your information is stored on Cloudflare's servers, which host the app. Your phone also keeps a copy of some of your chats so the app opens fast.
Tab, the in-app helper
If you choose to chat with Tab, the AI helper in the app, your messages to Tab are processed by an AI service so it can write replies. Only your chat with Tab is used for this, never your chats with other people.
Music and videos
Some songs and videos play from other services (like YouTube or Apple Music). When they play, those services may receive basic information from your browser under their own privacy policies.
What we never do
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not show ads, and we do not share your information with advertisers.
- The app's admin can see the list of accounts to keep the app running, but does not read your private messages.
Deleting your account
You can ask us to delete your account and your data at any time. Email keepmeyou.app@gmail.com from the address you want us to reply to, with your KeepMeYou name, and we will delete it.
Children
KeepMeYou is not for children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the app. If we learn that a child under 13 has an account, we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
